"FOR THE LOVE OF THE BREED"

I feel as if I should apologize to every Pit Bull I see for the bad name they have.  It kills me to see the negative media attention the breed gets.  IT'S ALL BECAUSE OF WORTHLESS OWNERS WHO ONLY CARE ABOUT MAKING MONEY!  It's not even just the ones who only breed the dogs for money or the ones who fight.  It's all the ones who breed any dog with any dog.  They don't care about quality and tempermant.  All they care about is quantity.  These are the people who should not be able or allowed to breed any kind of dog for that matter.  They make Pit Bulls have a bad name and it makes me sick.  We are trying to help them out by making sure we breed only the best dogs and weed out the rest.  If I have a dog old enough for breeding and unfit for breeding, he/she will be fixed, not sold for someone else to breed.

No, my dogs are not ADBA or UKC registered.  Does this mean that my dogs suck?  NO!  Most people don't want to take the time or spend the extra money to register their dogs.  That's their choice.  That does not mean that every dog left unregistered by UKC or ADBA has bad qualities and shouldn't be bred.

I fell into this situation when I bought my female.  Her parents are both registered ADBA and UKC but the owners would not give us the info. to register her.  So.........we started off fresh.  She is just as good, if not better,  as most other Pit Bulls I have seen.

American Pit Bull Registry certified Pit Bulls

and APBR Certified Kennel (Midwest Kennels)

ALL OF OUR DOGS ARE CKC AND APBR REGISTERED

NOT YOUR AVERAGE PIT

Our American Pit Bull Terriers are great dogs for any size family.  These pits are not short and squatty like most pits.  They have excellent muscle tone and beautiful color.  If you are looking for a pit bull with beautiful brindle markings you have come to the right place.

Our dogs are raised in our home with our three children.  They are playful and exercised daily.

We specialize in red-nose pit bulls.

We also rescue unwanted pit bulls.  We do not want to see them go to animal shelters because most of them are humanely euthanized since animal shelters do not attract people who have the right knowledge about pit bulls.  They either cannot adopt out because of the person's home settings and lifestyle or people are not even interested in the breed.  There is one local shelter in my area that accepts pit bulls and they try not to take very many because they are so hard to get rid of.

People see what the media shows them about this breed and that's what most of society thinks about these dogs.  THERE ARE NO BAD DOGS, JUST BAD OWNERS!!  Our goal is to help open up some eyes and help get these dogs off the streets and into good homes and get their good names back.
